Track 6 - Awesome Fried Rice

Musical Selections

La Roux (I'm really into this cd right now)

Ingredients

1 cup long grain white rice

1 large breast o' chicken

1 bag of "Asian medley" vegetables (I like the one with broccoli, baby corn, carrots and pea pods)

2 eggs

seasonings needed

curry powder

white pepper

red pepper

garlic

soy sauce

Chinese 5 spice season

Directions

In a pot of boiling water add 2 tsp. curry powder and 1 tsp. Chinese 5 spice. Add the rice and let cook. Enjoy the synth pop sound as you dice the chicken and cook the veggies until they are almost cooked (i usually get the frozen steam in bag kind) Feel free to sing along to the music. Season the meat with curry, white pepper, garlic and only a sprinkling of red pepper. Add to frying pan or wok and start to cook when the chicken is done add the veggies and soy sauce. Drain rice but do not rinse, add the eggs to the frying pan/wok and let it cook for about 30 seconds before you add the rice and then stir fry. Shake it while you stir fry the mix, when the egg is cooked the rice is done. Add some soy sauce to taste and enjoy!
